We're trucking along well in our 60 for 60 challenge, heading into week 3! Unsure of what 60 for 60 is? It's simple! Check it out and join us! We have had six entries for The Beryl Coronet this week, and links can be found below. Great work everyone!
And now, a question for you all: do you think it would be better for me to post on
dispatch_box a final list of all the entries I got for the week aggregated together on Saturday for everyone to read with a mention of the new story that starts on Sunday? Or should I post whatever I have available on Sunday and invite everyone to join in then with the current week's story? Might get more responses that way potentially, although not everyone's entry will get posted for advertising to readers. Any thoughts? I think I was more successful the first week doing that, so I may try that again. (I'm certainly over-thinking this, sorry.)
Is everyone having fun so far? I'm really enjoying our little project, and I hope you are too! I just love all the different approaches. We have slash, angst, detective work, back stories, missing scenes... Just terrific stuff! Thanks for taking this adventure with us, everybody!

Date: 2011-07-08 09:30 pm (UTC)I don't know a lot of the Canon comms unfortunately.
I think Sunday with all of the past week and the invitation for the next week.
I was wondering if we should all send ours to you before Saturday and do one big post and then we'll copy them each to our own pages to get our followers. But I don't know what everyone will think of that.

Date: 2011-07-09 01:38 am (UTC)One big post would be helpful, but as the entries tend to come in sporadically, I'm not sure. We'd probably have to rearrange the schedule to make that work. I wonder if we shouldn't start our own comm that anyone can post to. What do you think of that idea? Too much for such small ficlets?

Date: 2011-07-09 02:30 am (UTC)Second, I think a weekly round-up post on Saturday to whatever comms suit you/us/whoever is fine. That way people can say, "oh yeah, this!" on Saturday, and hopefully come and play on Sunday (or whatever day in the following week).
Third, you are made of awesome.

Date: 2011-07-09 11:09 pm (UTC)I'll probably end up posting something late Saturday night/Sunday morning with a link to my post for the week. I suppose I could keep updating the comm post through the week... I'll consider it. I've thought of starting our own comm as well. That way I wouldn't have to worry I've missed someone's entry. Don't know if that would get us more readers or fewer, however. But food for thought, at least.
Glad to see you around! Hope things are going well. You're certainly busy -- daily WW challenges, drabbles, 60 for 60... You've got a lot going on, woman! :)
